Legionella

EC has provided water management consultation for this site since 2017.  Services have included the initial investigation, periodic water sampling and analysis for Legionella and associated water quality parameters, development of technical specifications for disinfection, bid administration and remediation oversight.  EC has assisted the Facility in developing the Water Management Plan for the facility and continues to provide sample collection and analysis on an as needed basis. 

EC has provided water management consultation for this site since 2022.  Services have included the initial investigation, periodic water sampling and analysis for Legionella and associated water quality parameters, development of technical specifications for disinfection, bid administration and remediation oversight.  EC has assisted the Department in developing the Water Management Plan for the facility and continues to provide sample collection and analysis on an as needed basis. 

In response to a reported Legionella case and subsequent New Jersey Department of Health investigation, EC was engaged as the Housing Authority’s Consultant.  EC developed the sampling plan based on the facility’s plumbing profile, provided representative sampling and analysis, and recorded the appropriate water quality parameters.  Upon receipt of laboratory results, EC issued a report with the results clearly displayed in spreadsheet format. Work was completed in 2020.

In response to a reported case of Legionellosis, EC performed multiple rounds of water sampling and analysis at the  Addiction Treatment Center.  For each sampling event, EC provided the results in excel format for easy sorting and review.  EC also provided recommendations regarding the associated water quality parameters and plumbing system management.  EC’s work on the project concluded in 2024.
