EC provided Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and WELL Building air and water quality testing for several buildings on the Merck Rahway Campus.  Accordingly, EC surveyed each building, developed sampling plans, and oversaw sampling for the roughly dozen parameters necessary to meet LEED and WELL criteria.  EC was responsible for interpreting results and providing recommendations where necessary, and closing out each project in coordination with the site’s Sustainability Coordinator.  All buildings tested met the LEED and WELL criteria and were therefore successful in obtaining the certification credits.

EC has conducted LEED ARC™ quality testing for multiple facilities, including Time Equites Group in Manhattan and Pennsylvania, the Whitney Museum in New York and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.  The testing involves the structured collection of air quality measurements and statistical analysis of the results, for reporting to the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and subsequent green building certification.
